Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cookery book author and Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which debuted in 2002. It has since aired up to 2020 in 27 seasons. Ina began her career in the White House at the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget as well as policy reports. Ina was initially enthused by the intellectual stimulation that came with working for the White House, but eventually was bored. Instead, she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty store for food. She spent eighteen years making the store extremely successful before selling it off before putting pen to paper to write her first cookbook. Numerous other books as well as newspaper articles were published. Between them the Food Network show was also successful. Her range of items spans from the kitchen equipment, cooking and baking materials to storage containers. Ina was never a part of any cooking school, nor had a job in a restaurant. She can be taught by herself. Ina's easygoing style of entertaining as well as her simple style of cooking are widely known. Her most well-known recipes include Skillet-Roasted, Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
