Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress who is famous for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started during the 1950s in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Later, she appeared in number of Broadway productions before she became an international star along with Li'l abner in 1957. In the year 1957, she released her debut music album named It's time to Tina. Louise started beginning her Hollywood career in 1958 where she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre a dramatic film. The film was a huge hit and Louise was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. This time she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. She signed on with CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise performed a superb job juggling Broadway as well as Hollywood. She was portrayed as a dark and contrasting characters in contrast to the glamour doll image she was seen as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and on the show as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in recent years she's also made a name for herself as a successful director in various well-known television shows including Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family emigrated to Toronto at the age of three and she continued to live there throughout her childhood and adolescence. In 1997, after being picked to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived there ever since.
